Failed Adoption Match..

I really haven't felt like writing lately. After 15 months of actively waiting status (we had to have our homestudy complete to wait), we were matched with a birthmom in a nearby state. The match sounded perfect, it was going to be a little girl. The birth mom was placing because she already have several (more than 6) children in her custody and was struggling. She had placed a couple times before so we thought it was unlikely that she'd change her mind. It was going to be great, we were going to drive there. We could take the kids and my mom. 
I have been busy getting things ready and also I've been distracting myself with books and cleaning to make the time go by faster. We found out when before Christmas, birth mom was 34 weeks along. Fast forward 5 weeks, we are sitting by the phone anxiously awaiting our cue to travel... except the phone call we got was all different :-( 
Long story short, birth mom decided to parent. Although it was sad for us, I'm all for birth parents parenting. I hope everything works out for them. As for us, we hope to be matched again soon. 

Facebook :-(

I can't be the only one locked out of facebook. Seriously is anyone else having this problem. I entered the code from my cell phone but it wasn't good enough for them. They want me to identify friends. It's like impossible and I'm not sure I will ever be able to access that facebook account again. I am trying to take notes, one time it even said I took too long and it didn't count. I have over 1,000 blogging friends and I only know what like 2 of them look like.. If I ever get back in, I think I'm going to have to unfriend everyone :-( I really don't want to lose my fan page and it's attached to that account. Is anyone else going through this? Does anyone else have more than one fb account? I didn't even know I was breaking terms/conditons.. I guess Google Plus is where it's at now!

My New Years Resolution 2012

My resolution is to use no more plastic bags starting this year. 

They are wasteful

Energy/materials are wasted producing them

They are hard to dispose of

They pollute our coasts, lands and oceans

Do you really need any other reason?

Please consider limiting your use of plastic bags too!
