I just read an interesting article at Mommy Living the Life of Riley about a flaky sponsor. I want to encourage everyone to go over and read this article for themselves. It's so important to know who you are working with. Melissa keeps it real as she describes exactly what happened didn't happen. We can all learn something from her situation.
- Do a quick Google search of your sponsor (and the PR reps name if you have it)
- Check their BBB rating (this company had a F)
- Look at what people are saying on their Facebook page (are their customers happy?)
- Check Yelp.com (this company has several negative reviews)
Using these simple 4 steps you should be able to avoid a lot of drama.
